My Four Reasons Why Some Fail on Computer Systems Servicing NC II Assessment

1. Lack of Preparation

This is the most common problem with the candidates where they tend to be lax and do not put an effort on passing the examination.

2. Lack of Technical Know-How

Some failed candidates are people who doesn’t posses adequate knowledge about computer system servicing. I know a lot of people who failed the examination simply because they just don’t know anything about computer servicing. They might know something about computer system servicing but it is just not enough. Learning from training centers isn’t enough to equip you to pass the examination. It also takes years of experience to learn serious computer system servicing.

3. Bahala na si Batman Attitude

Many NC II candidates tend to leave their hopes of passing in their faith to God or to some fictional character like Batman. And yes we should entrust God in everything but taking the examination requires adequate preparation. You can’t leave it to God’s mercy, you need to act. So “bahala na” attitude should be avoided.

4. Lack of Confidence

Fear in failing on the examination is mostly their reason. They are trying to protect their ego that since they already know and well experienced in computer troubleshooting – it should be a humiliating for them if they won’t be able to pass the computer systems servicing exam. But I always encourage them to do take the examination. Some have taken the examination already and now TESDA certified computer servicemen. Still others fear of failing on the exam and never tried taking. So it should be important that you have that confidence and will to pass the Computer System Servicing NC II Assessment. Just like what I said on my other post, be 90% calm and 10% nervous. Being nervous is part of taking the assessment.
